CTE Teacher

I have been in education for 12 years and proudly spent 10 of those years as a paraprofessional supporting the ESL population here at Spring Branch Middle School. Last year, I stepped into a new role as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) teacher, and it has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my career. I am now in my second year teaching Skills for Living, Principles of Human Services, and College and Career Readiness, subjects for which I have a deep passion.

My classes focus on preparing students for life beyond the classroom by teaching essential life skills such as personal responsibility, effective communication, financial literacy, and career exploration. I take great pride in my work because I believe the lessons my students learn will benefit them long after middle school. From everyday decision-making to long-term planning, my goal is to help students build a strong foundation for a successful and independent future.
