Pamela Harrison - Spanish

Hello Wranglers!
Welcome to an exciting year of Spanish! Together, we will learn how to communicate in new ways, build our confidence, and more! Our classroom will be a place of curiosity, respect, and fun. ¡Vamos!

A little about me, my name is Pamela Harrison. I went to Universidad La Salle in México, where I earned my bachelor's degree in International Business. I have worked in this field for 10 years. But I choose to change paths, and this will be my first year as a Spanish teacher, although I have been a substitute teacher in Comal ISD for the past 2 years.

I am married and have two awesome sons. I am so excited to be part of the SBMS family and to get to know students and parents and explore the Spanish language and its beautiful cultures together this year. Please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me for any questions or concerns. Let's have a wonderful and productive school year!

Redo & Retake Opportunity

I believe in learning from our mistakes. They are allowed to redo up to two (2) grades per grading period.

    • This opportunity applies to assignments in the "Daily Work & Homework" and "Quizzes & Assignments" categories.

    • To use a redo, students must schedule a time with me to complete the corrections or new assignment during tutoring time.

Absences & Make-Up Work

  • If students are absent, it is their responsibility to get their missing assignments from the "While You Were Out" box. Check Google Classroom for any digital resources or warm-ups they missed.

  • Students have three (3) school days after an excused absence to submit missed work for full credit. After those three days, the standard late penalty will apply.

  • Missing work will appear on Skyward has "Missing" but also has a "zero". If students failed to turn in their missing work after 3 days, the zero will stay permanently. Please check Skyward regularly.
  • Remember, I am here to help you child succeed! If you are confused or concerned about missing work, please reach out to me.
